Welcome to my dreams, Please walk forever softly, But wade right through the stream. Love’s touch upon the water, Golden rings to ripple far, Then rain-showers come from magic, To come quietly from afar.
My corridor of dreams, Where time can only swell, Bringing tiny sips of heaven, Or hearty bursts of hell. Darkness folds among the flowers, Little clam inside its shell.
But when darkness comes to claim me, I know that I’ll do well. For though I cannot see you, Inside my darkened sleep, All I ever need do is feel, And to know that you’re there, With me.
